Hi,
I am Ms. Brown and I am glad to be at Stafford (Woowhoo!!!). I am originally from Los Angeles, California however, I was raised in Inglewood, California.I graduated from Morningside High School in Inglewood, California. I attended Humboldt State University (Northeren, California) and earned a Bachelors Degree in Social Work and then I attended Our Lady of The Lake University (San Antonio, Texas) and earned a Masters Degree in Social Work. I have lived in Northern, California, New Orleans, Louisiana and now San Antonio. I have lived in San Antonio for over 10 years now and I call it home. Yeah for tamales, buenlos and tacos!!!
There's something about Texas that no other state can duplicate and that's the hospitality nor the mariachis. This is my third year in the district and I am loving it. I have worked in the law enforcement and medical field for 10 years here in San Antonio. And, I believe that my experience in those fields adds a certain flavor to the school district. I also believe that your child or children can be anything they want to be. I will always encourage your child to do their best in everything they do and I will always encourage you as a parent that you are doing your best and to keep up the good work. I will also encourage you as a parent in the efforts that you make to better yourself for your family. I look forward to working with you as a parent and your child or children.
