• We have a goal in sight!

    We have our first district challenge. The challenge is set for Feb. 5, 2011. The students will compete using the GEAR Challenge "Up & Atom" from last year's UTSA competition. It will be exciting to watch the students compete, but we have a lot of work ahead of us!

  • Our new bot crew!

    We have been meeting for a couple of weeks now. I have two returning team members from last school year. We have 14 students staying after school for robotics.
     
    Since we have so many new students, we are starting at the very beginning. The students have begun working their way through the Mindstorm NXT software. The students are very excited about robotics. One student even told me that he wished we had robotics every afternoon!
