What's Happenin'

We performed once again at the Council of PTAs' Talent Show. UR did a great job, but unfortunately did not place this year. The next day UR marched and danced at the Cinco de mayo parade. The crowd loved them! Here are a few pictures:

We had our first auditions for the 2011-12 school year on September 29th. Twelve students qualified and were accepted to UR. We will hold a second round of auditions on October 18.
 
Rhythm performed at Roosevelt's Christmas Program in December. They did well for their first school performance.
Dancers are working on a new routine. We are looking for places to perform to show off the dancers' talent. Have any ideas? Let us know.
 
First PlaceThe 2009-2010 members of Unlimited Rhythm entered the district's Community Talent Show in which they competed against participants from other schools and the community. We are delighted to say that they placed FIRST in their division and SECOND overall!! It was a very emotional night for all!  
 
This brought great exposure to the group which kept them busy during the summer. They were asked to represent the district in the San Antonio Sports' Fit Family Challenge. They performed at the Wonderland Mall on three occasions and  at the FIFA Young Men's Basketball Tournament at St. Mary's University during the Mexico - United States game half-time.
