Welcome to Las Palmas Elementary!

My name is Maria Kreidel, and I am proud to be a Las Palmas Bobcat. I am the campus Acceletated Interventionist Teacher. In my job I primarily work with students in 3rd,4th, and 5th grade by providing services in the area of Math and Reading.

I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. I am a graduate of Brackenridge High School. I later attended and graduated from St.Mary's University where I majored in Marketing. I continued my studies at Our Lady of the Lake University where I earned my Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. I have over 17 years of business experience where I worked with Time Warner Cable and later Coca Cola Enterprises.

After my career in business, I decided to go back to school and I became an Elementary Bilingual Teacher. I have been in education for the past 7 years with Edgwood ISD. I have taught Pre-K and 4th Grade Bilingual Classes at Las Palmas Elementary. I have also been an AIT at Las Palmas, and the Instructional Facilitator at Roosevelt Elementary. I am excited to be back at Las Palmas in the role of AIT.
