I am excited about this school year.  This will be my sixth year teaching at Roosevelt Elementary and my fourth year teaching fourth grade.  Prior to joining the Roosevelt team, I taught Science and Language Arts for sixth, seventh, and eighth grade. 
 
As the daughter of an Air Force officer, I moved around while I was growing up.  However, I consider San Antonio my hometown since we were stationed here more often than anywhere else.  In between my years attending schools in Judson ISD, I lived in cities such as Montgomery, Alabama; Springfield, Virginia; and Miesau, Germany.
 
Prior to answering the call to become a teacher, I spent several years in the business world including time as a Reservations/Revenue Manager for hotels and as a Product Development Analyst for a hospitality company.
 
When I am not at school, I love to travel, read, spend time with my husband, visit family in Omaha and my in-laws in Galveston, and play with our dogs Sarah and Lexie.
