Welcome back to a brand new school year! I look forward to working with the parents, students, and staff of Winston. I began my teaching career in Edgewood in 1999. I taught for three and one-half years at the secondary level, and was an Instructional Facilitator for two and one-half years. I was an Assistant Principal for six years. Education is very important to me and I hope to instill the value of receiving an education to our Winston students. I am a graduate of Incarnate Word High School. I pursued my education by attending Our Lady of the Lake University where I received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems. In addition, I have earned a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Houston Baptist University, as well as a Master of Education in Catholic School Educational Leadership from Saint Mary’s University. I recently got married, so I am now Mrs. Guerra. My husband is awesome; I couldn't have asked for a better person. I have two wonderful daughters, Amanda and Andrea, and a great step-son, Jeremey. We lost our beloved Chihuahua, Buddy, last year, but have since added to our family. We now have Bridget our hamster, and Bailey our rambunctious puppy. Looking forward to an awesome year at Winston! |
