Welcome back to a brand new school year!I look forward to working with the parents, students, and staff of Winston. I began my teaching career in Edgewood in 1999.I taught for three and one-half years at the secondary level, and was an Instructional Facilitator for two and one-half years.I was an Assistant Principal for six years.
Education is very important to me and I hope to instill the value of receiving an education to our Winston students.I am a graduate of IncarnateWordHigh School.I pursued my education by attending Our Lady of the LakeUniversity where I received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems. In addition, I have earned a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Houston Baptist University, as well as a Master of Education in Catholic School Educational Leadership from Saint Mary’s University.
I recently got married, so I am now Mrs. Guerra. My husband is awesome; I couldn't have asked for a better person. I have two wonderful daughters, Amanda and Andrea, and a great step-son, Jeremey. We lost our beloved Chihuahua, Buddy, last year, but have since added to our family. We now have Bridget our hamster, and Bailey our rambunctious puppy.
