Garcia, Maria

Hi there!  I am Miss M. Garcia.  I have been teaching at Perales Elementary for nine years now.  Including this year, I have taught 5th grade for seven years, one year in 1st grade, and one year in 3rd grade.  I was born in Manila, Philippines but grew up here in San Antonio, TX.  I also love traveling and been to places such as Baton Rouge, LA; Mobile, AL; Tallahassee, FL; Orlando, FL; Los Angeles, CA; Cincinnati, OH; and many others.  I don't have any children of my own, but I do have one dog whom I love dearly, her name is Kalea and she is a Labrador/Pitbull mix.  Other things (hobbies) I do outside of work are spending time with family, cooking, spending time with my dog, reading, and working-out.
