As the Instructional Technology Facilitator (Oscar T. Galdeano) at Las Palmas Elementary, I will work with teachers and staff to model and co-teach, as well as provide staff development to assist with the Integration of Technology in Kindergarten - Fifth Grade classrooms.  Teachers/Staff will use a variety of Technology resources and media to help students advance their and their students Technology Skill Level.  Students will use a variety of software (Kid Pix, Inspiration, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, Web-Based Programs, and the Internet to produce Technology products throughout the school year. 

Web based programs/websites (AR, Brainpop, Brainpop Jr., Easy Tech, Reasoning Mind, Reflex Math, Starfall, Study Island, iStation, Think Through Math, etc.) will also be used to develop Math, Language Arts/Reading, Science, Social Studies, Technology, and Writing Skills that are aligned with the TEKS.

Technology skills will run rampant throughout our school this year.
