      This year your child will learn many important concepts that are essential to his or her education.  My goal is for your child to embark on the journey of school with a love of learning!  I have high expectations for all of my students and know they will succeed.  As a teacher I will ensure that I provide hands on learning experiences based on students interests. I believe that learning centers provide opportunities for children to explore the environment around them. Furthermore, I promise to provide a structured environment where your child is engaged and challenged.
 
        In order to instill the importance of responsibility, I expect all of my students to be at school each day.  If for some reason your child is not in school, please send a note the following day. Please make sure your child is on time each day (7:45).  Furthermore, your child is required to bring his or her folder and homework to school on a daily basis.  Homework consists of reading, math and completing a reading log daily.  Reading is a crucial component to the success of your child's academic career.  Please visit your local library or the Loma Park library to check out books at no cost!
