Check Out Dr. Romo's Visit to Room #203!

Dr. Ricardo Romo is the 5th president of UTSA.
He visited our class on Tuesday, December 15, 2009.
Please check out the children's book all about Dr. Romo's fast days as a track star!
The book is titled Ricardo's Race or La carrera de Ricardo. 
Attending college is a priority and it should be expected that all students further their education.  My students and myself were quite pleased with Dr. Romo's visit.  He reinforced the need to find the special talent that each and everyone of us has within us.
 
We would like to thank all our visitors that made December 15th, a special day.  Among the visitors were Dr. Garza (EISD Superintendent), Mr. Kelley, Mr. E. Rodriguez (Las Palmas Elementary Principal) and Arturo & Lora Rodriguez (my parents).
