Welcome to 1st grade!  I am very excited about teaching and love learning.  My goal is to ensure the success of every student.  Your child will be learning many exciting new things in the areas of reading, writing, math, science, social studies, and technology.  We have plenty of hard work ahead of us so I hope you and your child are ready to "Dive into Learning"!

Reading opens up a world of possibilities - it is a skill vital to being successful in all other subject areas.  Those students who cannot read yet will be able to by the end of the school year.  Those students who are able to read, will learn skills to help them become better readers.  They will be reading everyday in school and are expected to practice at home every night!  Help your child become a great reader by "Diving into a Good Book"!
