My name is Irene S. Orr.   I have been teaching for over thirty years. I have taught just about all grade levels  in the primary grades. This year I am teaching First grade at Henry B. Gonzalez.  I am very excited and happy to be a first grade teacher.  Teaching is what I love to do.  My students will learn so much this year.  They are expected to pay attention and be very respectful toward everyone. They are old enough to start understanding responsibility.  I have 3 children of my own.  Two have graduated from college and my 21 year old is a Junior in college.   I arrive at school about 7:00 a.m. every morning.  I usually stay until @least 5:00 p.m.  Please call me  if you have any questions at 444-7800 and leave a message  or e-mail me at  iorr@eisd.net .
