Welcome to the Home of Gardendale Robotics!
Our program exposes students to robotics and engineering activities: Our program consists of three different levels of activities:
Dacta: Simple Machines Kit 9630 : Students learn about basic structures and how simple machines are used in draw bridges, cars and other everyday machines.
WeDo Robotics: A beginning class that has students creating wired robots that emphasize building using simple machines such as levers and gears with sensors.
NXT Robotics: A more advanced group of activities that involves participation in thematic challenges. The students build and also use the NXT Mindstorms software to program robots to do specific tasks.
Gardendale Robotics participated in The Edgewood "Transfarmers 2" Competition 2011
Gardendale Robotics participated in the Techno Gobble 2011 in Edgewood.
Gardendale Robotics also participated in GEAR 2011 "Power-Up".
