Gardendale Robotics

Welcome to the Home of Gardendale Robotics!

Our  program exposes students to robotics and engineering activities:  Our program consists of three different levels of activities:

Dacta: Simple Machines Kit 9630 : Students learn about basic structures and how simple machines are used in draw bridges, cars and other everyday machines.

WeDo Robotics: A beginning class that has students creating wired robots that emphasize building using simple machines such as levers and gears with sensors.

NXT Robotics:  A more advanced group of activities that involves participation in thematic challenges.  The students build and also use the NXT Mindstorms software to program robots to do specific tasks.
