I am very proud to be teaching in EISD for the past 14 years. 

My experience has been teaching in various grade levels from 1st to 4th.

My inspiration to become a teacher came at a very young

age by pretending to be my 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Sampson.  

Her love of reading reflected in our classroom.  She brought the

characters to life by allowing us to pretend and role play.  I want

my students to feel as excited about reading as I did. 

 

    My family includes my husband of 27 years and our two children

who are now adults.  My son graduated from the University of Texas with a Masters Degree in History and my daughter is on her last year at Texas A&M pursuing a degree in English.    I cant forget to mention our pet dogs, Chico and Guerra.   In my spare time I love to sing in the church

choir, ride my bike, and read, read, read.  My favorite story book character is Clifford. 

I really thought I was going to have a dog like Clifford until I found out it would cost

too much to feed him!
