My name is Mrs. Mirella A. Andrade and I am your child 's 1st grade teacher

for the 2011-2012 school year.  This is my third year at Gardendale, but my 7th

in the district.  I taught first grade at Henry B. Gonzales Elementary School for four years.

I have been teaching for fourteen years, eight in private catholic schools and sixin the Edgewood distric.  I have taught first, second, and first/second multi age split.  I am a native of San Antonio and have lived here all my life.  I graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and earned my BA in education from Our Lady of the Lake University.  I am married and have three beautiful children whom are my pride and joy.  I look forward to a wonderful year with your child.
