I had the opportunity to attend the
TCEA Conference in February
and met the star of Brainpop, Moby.
My name is Stacy Pattenaude and I am the Instructional Technology Facilitator here at Roosevelt ES.
I was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. I attended St. Mary’s University where I earned a B.A. in Political Science. After graduation, I worked for an attorney for about a year when I decided my calling was teaching. I was lucky enough to be hired as a Social Studies teacher at Truman Middle School. I taught 6th & 8th grade Social Studies at Truman for a couple years and then became a Technology Teacher.
As a Social Studies Teacher, I loved integrating technology into my lessons. I was one of the first teachers to complete the district technology assessments. I also completed the TTCC Program, demonstrating proficiency in all of the SBEC Technology Standards. Additionally, I obtained my Master in Education with a specialization in integrating technology into the curriculum. I did not do these things for accolades, but because I love learning about and using technology in my personal and professional life. My goal is to continue to share my passion with others to help them thrive and achieve.
