Thinking maps are visual patterns which allows us to have a concrete image of our thoughts.  Visual representations enhance the brains's natural ability to detect and remember things.  Thinking maps are used to reduce anxiety by providing familiar visual patterns for thinking and working with difficult ideas and situations.
