I began my teaching career at in SAISD, where most of my experience was as the band director at Rhodes Middle School and as the assistant band director at Brackenridge High School.  I have also taught general music at the elementary level.  I have enjoyed teaching every grade level of music from K-12.     I accepted the head band director position here at Kennedy H.S. in 2011.  It has been an excellent experience to be in front of many talented musicians, supportive staff, supportive administration,and supportive parents.
