I am Mr. Shields.  I was born and raised in the military.  My father was in the Air Force and I have lived everywhere from Colorado Springs, CO to Tacoma, WA to Las Vegas, NV.  Now, my wife is a nurse in the Air Force and we moved here from Bolivar, MO in 2007.

For most of my life I have always been interested in art.  I took several art classes in high school and continued to pursuit art in college.  I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Commercial Art.  After graduating from Southwest Baptist University, I attended graduate school at Savannah College of Art and Design and received a Master of Fine Arts degree in Illustration.
