As the Math Accelerated Instruction Teacher, I work with all Tier III students in all grade levels in Math. I pull these students out of the classroom to receive direct instruction in a small group setting. Each group receives 45 minutues of instruction. I use a Response to Intervention, RTI, research based curriculum on these students. The district has chosen Voyager Math. There is an initial and final benchmark given. After the initial benchmark, we work on 1 of the 8 modules. Each module has a pre-test and a post-test, therefore, providing adequate data to review progress.
