   As one of the Accelerated Instruction Teachers at Winston Elementary  I work with students needing extra assistance in Math, and Reading.
   I pull students out of their classroom for Response to Intervention (RTI) as Tier III instruction in small groups. This is done in 30 to 45 minute increments of time each day based on the individual student's needs.    
   Additionally, I go into classrooms to work with small groups of students, assist the classroom teachers  and am a resource for all teachers of all grade levels.
   Some of the instructional materials I use include the Voyager Passport reading and V-Math programs, Mentoring Minds workbooks, and the Journeys reading adoption materials. I also facilitate students use of the various computer programs our district and campus have for reading and math.
