2. Entering/exiting

a. When entering class I will be sure to shake your hand and greet you each day. Then have pencils sharpened and be ready to go. There will be a daily warm up posted on the board each day. Get to it immediately.

b. The bell does not dismiss you; I do, with words of encouragement each day.

c. 6th period you will put chairs on their desks before words of encouragement each day before exiting.

3. Bathroom/water breaks/ questions/comments

a. Raise your hand and ask. If you have completed your assignment, and are respectful I will respect your needs.

4. Absences/tardies

a. When entering classroom, you will not disturb/interrupt class. Help yourself in filling out an absence/tardy form and leave it in the basket on the entrance table. Be sure to collect all make-up work. Also, understand 3 tardies equal an absence.

                                              i.    Absence make up work will be provided in the Edgewood binder also on the entrance table. Be sure to pick one up and turn in A.S.A.P.

 

5. Breakfast captains

a. I will assign 2 students to sign out breakfast each morning. They will also be in charge of trash.

6. Paper Heading

a. In order to keep order each student is expected to have the same heading on EVERY paper turned in. It will include your first and last name, class period, and subject.

7. Incentives

a. Hornet bucks will be distributed regularly when good behavior is shown.

b. When receiving the highest grade in your class on Unit Exams your picture will be taken and posted on our “I’m so bright I need shades” bulletin board.  

c. When you have good grades and no absences, you are eligible for flex days!

8. Seating Charts

a. Never get too comfortable, you will be assigned a new seat regularly in order to help develop team player skills in each of you.
