I grew up in Brenham, Texas, home of Blue Bell Ice Cream. I attended and graduated from Brenham High School. I earned a bachelor's degree from Texas State University in Fashion Merchandising and Business Administration. I worked at Texas Monthly Magazine in Austin, Texas for two years.
 
In 2008 I returned to Texas State to pursue a degree in education. I graduated from Texas State University with a Masters Degree in Elementary Education in August 2009.  I served as a teaching assistant for children with disabilities for two years before coming to Roy Cisneros in last February. I am excited to return to Cisneros as the life unit teacher for the third year.
 
My priority is to get know each of your children, their interests, and their needs.  Throughout the year, we will be learning and using appropriate social skills, daily living skills, as well as academic skills.  I am so excited to be here at Cisneros and I am looking forward to another great school year!
