BIENESTAR


The objective of the SHRC Bienestar/NEEMA Health Programs is to help the District coordinate health program requirements under Section 38.013 of the Texas Education Code. This program is intended to lead to the prevention of obesity, cardio vascular disease and Type II diabetes for elementary and middle school students. The Social & Health Research Center (SaHRC) is a nonprofit organization committed to diabetes and obesity prevention in communities and school using Bienestar/NEEMA health programs.

 


PALS

ThePolice Athletic League is an athletic program sponsored by the San Antonio Police Department under the direction of Danny Zamora. This program offers students in grades 1-6 an opportunity to participate in seasonal sporting activities such as volleyball, basketball and soccer. Parents are responsible for their child's transportation to and from scheduled games and practices. Registration is done at the student’s campus by physical education teacher. Our coaching staff works closely with officers to provide a fun, safe, competitive, friendly and drug free environment for all students participating in the program.

Parents Pledge

I pledge to exhibit goodsportsmanship by using appropriate language and behavior before, during andafter each game, to reinforce good character and encourage and support my childin their academic pursuits.
