Attendance: Your kindergartener must be at school by 7:45 a.m. until 3:15 p.m. every day in order to get the best education possible. If the student is absent from school 10 or more days within six months or 3 or more days within four weeks the student’s parent is subject to prosecution.

Daily Folders: Every day your child will bring their folder to school and take it home. The following information will be in their folder.

Parent Information: I will send home any information such as flyers, permission slips or notes you will need. Please check to see if anything requires your signature; please sign and return to school the next day. Please remove all other information and keep it at home.

Home Work: Your child will have homework every day except Friday after the first week of school. Please help your child complete the homework and return it to school the next day.

Reading Chart: It is expected that someone read to your child for a minimum of 20 minutes every day; and then an adult should initial the reading chart. This is a vital part of your child’s ability to learn to read. If you do not have anything to read at home please let me know as soon as possible.

If your child brings food to school, it may only be eaten during assigned breakfast and lunch times and your child will not be able to eat any food provided by the school. If your child brings money to spend at lunch, they are responsible for this money. Please know that there is unfortunately a chance this money could be lost or stolen.
