I am looking forward to an exceptional year working with the students.

 

My name is Mr. Knudsvig I am originally from Northwestren North Dakota near the Montana border. 

I am a US Army veteran that is how I came to find out what a wonderful city San Antonio is.  I graduated high school and enlisted into the Army as a combat medic in the Army for almost 10 years.  I have served around the around in peacetime and in combat. 

I went to college in Georgia I majored in Biology and Chemistry.  After college I went to work in Boston for a biotechnology company called Bioprocessors.  I was involved in developing antibiotics and vaccines. I did this for 6 years.  I then accepted a job with the Southwest Foundation for Biomedical Research I worked on AIDS vaccines and infectious diseases.  I went back to school to become a certified teacher and now I have had the privledge for the last 3 years of teaching here in Edgewood.
