Exams Needed to Graduate.
Apart from passing a class and earning the credit for class, the State of Texas requires that students take exams in order to gradate.  There are currently two exams: TAKS (which is being phased out) and the new STAAR Tests (also known as End-of Course Exams).  STAAR stands for State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness.  Below are links to documents to these tests.
