ABOUT ME Aloha I am Kanani! Most called me Coach Clark at John F. Kennedy High School. I have coached at JFK for the past 24 years. Football, basketball, track, and tennis were my sports. I was most successful with basketball, winning 2 district championships. For the last 8 years, I have been teaching AVID and health at JFK. I was born and raised in Hawai'i. I am of Hawaiian-Chinese-Irish blood. Wahiawa, Oahu was my hometown. In my 'ohana, i have 2 brothers and 2 sisters. After my high school graduation at Leilehua, I attended Graceland University (Lamoni, Iowa) and earned my Bachalors of Arts Degree in Education. Then I attend Northwest Missouri State University (Maryville) and graduated with a Masters of Science Degree in Physical Education and Health Education. Later I attended University of Northern Iowa (Cedar Falls) and earned an Endorsement in Secondary Administration (Principalship). I am excited about teaching the Health and Fitness Course at Gus Garcia. We have a tremendous administrative team and great teachers at Gus Garcia. I am elated that they would have me join their team. |
