I grew up in a small farming community in Stayton, Oregon. I graduated from Regis High School where I was a 4 year varsity athlete in volleyball, basketball, and track. I earned a Division I basketball scholarship to play basketball for San Diego State University, in San Diego, California. I attended and played 2 years for the University before transfering to Incarnate Word University, a Division II school, in San Antonio. I graduated with my Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology and received a Master's Degree in General Education at Incarnate Word University.
Coming from a farming community to big city life was very informational, and is why I am glad to call San Antonio my home now. I enjoy the big city country feel that the city offers. I am excited to be here at Memorial and look forward to the opportunity grow with this community.
I have always wanted to be a coach to pass on and share the knowledge that I have gained from all the years that I have played. I hope to provide the students with knowledge about fitness, as well as passing the message that you can achieve what you dream with a little bit of effort and hard work.
