Brenda Figueroa has been in the Instructional field since 2002. Prior to becoming an Instructional Technology Facilitator, she taught 8th grade Technology Applications.
Ms. Figueroa was born and raised in Corpus Christi and after graduating high school, she earned a Bachelors degree in Business from St. Mary's University. She started working for a non-profit organization as a Technology Instructor. In 2005, Ms. Figueroa earned a Masters degree in Business from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Besides working as a teacher, Ms. Figueroa worked for the US Forest Service in Washington DC where she developed national training modules. She also worked as the Director of Research andTraining for a non-profit in Austin. Ms. Figueroa has a diverse range of experience and skills, excelling in Microsoft Office, the Flipped Classroom and iMovie.
Mission: To develop teacher with intellectual and creative minds a sense of passion to create and provide engaging lessons with technology integration.
