I have been an early childhood teacher for 21 years. I have taught three year olds, four year olds and kindergarten. One year I taught a kinder/1st class. I have taught both monolingual and bilingual classes.
I have a bachelors degree from Our Lady of the Lake University with a double major in English and Spanish. I have a masters degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of the Incarnate Word. I also have a masters degree in Curriculum Instruction in Integrated Science from Our Lady of the Lake. I am now working on a masters degree in Library and Information Science through Drexel University Online.
I am a member of the Edgewood Lions Club, Edgewood Classroom Teachers Association, the American Library Association, Texas Library Association and Bexar Library Association. I am also a member of REFORMA (a library association for Spanish speakers).
