Course Description for PreK

PreK teachers at our school utilize a curriculum from Scholastic called Big Day for PreK. This curriculum is designed to embrace the children's natural curiousity and encourages them to explore and connect to the world around them. Each 4 week thematic unit not only contains a knowledge focus of what children will be learning, but they also contain a Social-Emotional focus as well. Big Day for PreK encompasses the following 8 thematic units:
