The Stafford Early Childhood Center is a Head Start Program that is part of the Edgewood Independent School District. Each classroom is staffed with a teacher and a paraprofessional. The center works in partnership with Region XX, Center for Health Care Services, University Health Systems, and Family Services to provide services to both the students and their families. Below is some information regarding our center. 21 Teachers: Bachelors or Masters with a teaching certificate 23 Paraprofessionals: Child Development Associates Credentials, Associates or Bachelors degree Student Population: 294 Students Grades: Pre-Kinder 3 and Pre-Kinder 4 Classrooms: 20 classrooms and 1 Gross Motor (Gym) |
