Hello ! Welcome to Ms. Thorman's Teacher Page!

I've lived in San Antonio since I was about 5 years old. I grew up in the Edgewood district. Both my mother and grandmother received their high school diplomas from Kennedy High School. I however, attended 3 different high schools. I started off at Antonian College Preparatory, then went to the Texas Academy of Math and Science at the University of North Texas in Denton, and then graduated from Cornerstone here in San Antonio. After high school I attended Texas A&M University (Gig 'em Aggies!) where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. In August 2011, I received a Master's degree in Multidisciplinary Sciences from the University of the Incarnate Word.

This is my 5th year at Memorial High School and my 7th year teaching overall. Throughout my time as a teacher I have taught Biology, Chemistry, Physics, AP Physics, Environmental Systems and TAKS Science. In addition to teaching, I also coach the MHS Cheerleading and Pep squads.
