Universal Review System (URS)

What is the URS Committee?
 

·        This committee meets every week to discuss progress of students.  If students are not progressing or are experiencing difficulty in school, the committee discusses various intervention plans to assist the student so that he/she is able to  get back on track with grades, attendance and behavior.

·        Who oversees the URS Committee?

The CCRCC oversees the process each week.  An agenda is prepared before the meeting convenes and is sent out electronically so that each member is aware of what will be discussed.

·        Once decisions are made, the student interventions are put into place and all necessary staff is notified

·        Who is on the URS committee?

This committee consists of the following people:

1.     All campus counselors

2.     Academic Dean

3.     Campus and Career Review Coach

4.     Communities in Schools representative

5.     Counselor Assistant

6.     Parent Educator

7.    School Age Parent Program

8.   Social Worker

9.   Special Education Lead Teacher
