Gloria M. Saldana
I was born here in San Antonio, Texas, attended schools in the Edgewood District, and graduated from Kennedy High School.  I then attended St. Mary's University where I received a B. A. with a major in English and a minor in French.  I have taken post-graduate classes at Trinity University and UTSA, where I received a certification to teach AP Spanish Literature.
I have travelled in Southeast Asia and in Europe when my husband was in the military.  Those travels sparked my interest in cultures.  Learning about literature and cultures is my passion.  Teaching is the perfect profession for me.  If I were not teaching, I'd be the perpetual scholar.
