              Thank you for visiting my web page.
     Welcome to my "meet the teacher" page.    Before coming to Memorial, I spent thirteen years in property management.  I then decided to enter the more rewarding and less stressful profession of teaching in 1995, a decision that I have never regretted.  The last seventeen years at Memorial have enriched my life.
     I spent the first eighteen years of my life in Victoria, Texas, where my parents still reside.  I attended Southwest Texas for two years and then transferred to UTSA, where I earned a degree in education.  I am certified in Physical Education (k-12) and Health.
     I am married, and in fact, I met my husband on a soccer field at UTSA (soccer has been very good to me). He is a bilingual pre-k teacher in the Harlandale district.
     We love to travel in the summer, especially to somewhere cooler.  We also like to play around with photography.  If it stands still long enough, I will take a picture of it.
     This year I will be teaching health and I will have two athletic classes.  I will also be coaching  soccer, which keeps me very busy, but I love it!
