Course Description for Anatomy & Physiology

In Anatomy & Physiology, students study the fundamental principles of the organ systems and their interaction within the human body. Students will conduct laboratory investigations and dissections to explore scientific concepts and processes of various organs and organ systems. Rigorous theoretical instruction and extensive lab procedures will be associated with these labs to promote effective content mastery, critical thinking application, and specimen usage. Instruction will be developed to meet the 40% laboratory and fieldwork curriculum requirement. This course is for juniors and seniors. The prerequisites are Biology and Chemistry.
