            My name is Nora Kirby and I will begin my 24th year of teaching.  I have taught various grades and have also been an Instructional Facilitator at Gardendale Elementary.  I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early Elementary Education (certified PK through 6th grade) from the University of Texas at San Antonio and have a Masters in Educational Leadership from St. Mary's University.  I have been married for 26 years and we have a daughter named Samantha, who just graduated with a B.A. from  the University of Texas in Austin.  HOOK 'EM HORNS!!  I have been here at Cardenas since they reopened 7 years ago and really enjoy working with the little ones because they make me laugh!
