Meet the Teacher
 
     My family is from Del Rio, TX and I graduated from San Felipe High School in 1970.
I enlisted in the United States Army in 1973 and lived in Europe.  I met Gloria Marruffo, an Army solider, in Germany and married in 1974.  We both left the military in 1977 to pursue our education and have never really stopped learning.  Also, we are blessed with two daughters, and two grandchildren.
     We moved to Kingsville, TX from 1978 - 1981 and attended the University of Texas A & I, Kingsville.  We both graduated from Texas A & I with a Bachelor's of Science in Education.  I started my teaching career in the Northside ISD in 1981, as a Career & Technology Teacher at Pat Neff Middle School for five years.
I returned to teaching in the Edgewood ISD on September 16, 1992, as a Career and Technology Teacher.  I am excited to be back for my twenty year at Edgewood ISD.  This is my second year with the Toltech T-STEM Academy.  I am looking forward to guiding our students through the journey of life while in high school!  Looking forward to working with your sons and daughters.
