Long Range Facilities Committee

This committee has been in operation for three years and annually recruits parents and community members to fill vacancies at both the District and Campus level.  The purpose of this committee is to:
  • Develop and review implementation of the District Long Range Facilities Plan;
  • Determine campuses and building which are underutilized and or cost inefficient; and
  • Align elementary, middle school and high school attendance zones
Membership on this committee is open to all Edgewod parents, community members and business representatives.  Any vacancies are filled through an application process.  Committee members should:
  • Possess a sincere interest in the education of students in Edgewood ISD;
  • Be able to communicate with parents and community members; and
  • Commit to committee duties and responsibilites (available for evening meetings from October-June; meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month).
