GEAR UP is going to provide activities designed to increase knowledge and understanding of post-secondary education options and preparation to ensure you are ready to attend a college or university. In the 2013-2014 school year we will have a college preparation advisor at each EISD middle school to provide support for students and parents. A GEAR UP College Center will be set up to provide information on post-secondary opportunities and financial aid.
There will be parent meetings, summer programs and field trips to colleges and universities and much more. Additional information will be forthcoming.
