Spring Poem Kite Days A kite, a sky, and a good firm breeze, And acres of ground away from trees, And one hundred yards of clean, strong string -- O boy, O boy! I call that Spring! This poem includes rhyme. It is a repetition of similar sounds in two or more words and is most often used in poetry and songs. 4th grade students are tested on poetry along with other skills for their Reading STARR assessment.
